PerceptA Therapeutic & Training Center, LLC provides a supportive environment to help address a variety of mental health needs through the use of visual arts:
- Improve self-awareness
- Encourage self-exploration
- Help reduce anxiety and stress
- Learn coping skills to better handle traumatic experiences
- Help explore and understand feelings about life experiences and transitions
- Help understand and improve relationships with others
Art Therapy is helpful to adults, adolescents and children through individual and group sessions.
Using Art as Therapy and Open Studios can also help the healing process, inspire creativity, and help develop art skills.

Available Groups: *All art materials will be provided in the groups and no previous art experience is needed.
Art Open Studio: Stress Management. Art is an excellent and effect way of learning ways to manage our stressful lives. This group will focus on learning ways to de-stress, as well as using the creative art process to gain self-awareness and effective coping skills. Group duration: 2 hours.
Art Open Studio: For African American Men. Addressing many life issues including, depression, work issues, self-esteem, and racial identity issues. Art will be used as a way to explore resiliency and coping skills. Minimum of 6 people will be enrolled in this group. Group duration: 2 hours.
Art Open Studio: For Women. Addressing women issues from motherhood to equality. Creativity will be used to address these topics as well as coping skills. Group duration: 2 hours.
