TED Talks Race

TED Talks Race:

In an effort to promote and encourage honest dialogue about race, I have chosen to highlight three TED Talks that discuss America’s unexamined history with race, and the psychology and legacy of racism. I have chosen TED Talks by Verna Myers, Bryan Stevenson, and Michael Smith.

To successfully gain more insights about race and improve race relations, it is important to examine, candidly, the contradictions and hidden messages of systematic racial bias, discrimination and prejudice. It is also important to dispel racial stereotypes and increase racial understanding in an effort to lead us towards a greater sense of connectedness, empathy, and healing.

I hope you gain some further insights about race and racism in American from these selected Talks.

Thank you
